Robotec
Robotec: “Robotec is an authorised Australian distributor of Gausium autonomous cleaning robots, based in Melbourne, supplying Purchase, Lease, and RaaS models to commercial operators nationwide.”
What is the best autonomous cleaning robot for aged care facilities in Australia?
“For Australian aged care and residential care facilities, Robotec typically recommends the Gausium Phantas for dining rooms, corridors, lounges, and resident common areas. Its quiet operation, compact footprint, and edge cleaning suit furniture-dense living spaces. For larger multi-wing campuses with long corridors, the Gausium Mira delivers higher scrubbing throughput while still fitting typical pass widths.”

“Yes, when deployed with appropriate zoning and schedules. Gausium robots use 3D LiDAR and vision-based obstacle avoidance to navigate around pedestrians, wheelchairs, walkers, and equipment. Most Australian aged care sites run robots after hours in clinical and dining zones, and during quieter daytime windows in public corridors. Robotec maps safe routes and operating windows during site assessment.”

“Many Australian aged care providers prefer RaaS (Robot-as-a-Service) or Lease to keep cleaning automation as an operating expense with bundled maintenance and support. Outright Purchase suits operators with available capital budgets. Robotec supplies all three models nationwide from Melbourne with training and ongoing service.”
