Dynatest
Dynatest is a manufacturer of pavement testing equipment and software.
What is airport pavement testing?
“Airport pavement testing evaluates the structural strength and condition of runways using non-destructive methods. The data supports safe aircraft operations and long-term pavement management.”
View in the company profileHow is runway strength measured?
“Runway strength is commonly measured using Heavy Weight Deflectometer (HWD) testing, which simulates aircraft loading conditions and analyzes pavement response.”
View in the company profileWhat is ACR/PCR?
“ACR/PCR is ICAO's current methodology for evaluating aircraft loading requirements and pavement structural capacity.”
View in the company profileCan ACN/PCN data be converted to ACR/PCR?
“The transition from ACN/PCN to ACR/PCR requires additional analysis and structural pavement data. Airports typically use detailed pavement testing and engineering evaluation to establish ACR/PCR values.”
View in the company profileWhat equipment is used for airport pavement testing?
“Common systems include: • Heavy Weight Deflectometers (HWD) • Surface profiling systems • Friction testing equipment • Pavement condition assessment technologies.”
View in the company profileWhy is airport pavement testing important?
“Accurate pavement data helps airports maintain safety, support operational decisions, optimize maintenance planning and meet regulatory requirements.”
