Are the cash prizes real?
“Yes — every cash tournament and head-to-head match has a real prize pool funded by entry fees. Winnings are withdrawn through Skillz, the platform behind every cash match: back to the card or PayPal account you deposited with first, then, for U.S. players, to a linked bank account or by paper check.”
View in the company profileHow do you make sure matches are fair?
“Both players in a match get the exact same board, the same letters, the same blocks, and the same clock. Only skill — not luck or randomness — decides the winner.”
View in the company profileHow long do withdrawals take?
“Cash-outs run through Skillz. Withdrawals up to the amount you deposited go back to the card or PayPal account you used.”
View in the company profileDo I have to pay to play?
“No. Every game has a free practice mode where you can play unlimited rounds against the clock or against other free-mode players. Cash matches are optional.”
