Doking Canada
Doking Canada: “B2B wholesale supplier of bubble tea and dessert ingredients (powders, syrups, popping boba, tapioca pearls, jams, toppings) with local warehouses in Toronto and Montréal, Canada. Manufacturer-backed via parent Shanghai Doking; OEM and private-label available.”
Should my restaurant add bubble tea or a drinks menu?
“If you already have customers at the table, a small beverage station is one of the cheapest ways to raise your average check. Drinks built from shelf-stable syrups, tea and toppings cost roughly $0.30 to $1.00 in ingredients and sell for $5 to $6, so most of the add-on is margin.”
View in the company profileHow many ingredients do I need to start?
“About eight shelf-stable SKUs cover a five-drink starter menu: lemon syrup, fructose syrup, a black tea, a green tea, tapioca or crystal pearls, coconut jelly, and one or two fruit syrups or granules. A single drink like a lemonade needs just one purchased ingredient.”
View in the company profileIs it a lot of extra labour for the kitchen?
“No. The starter drinks are shake-and-pour or blend builds a line cook can make in under a minute. The tea is brewed in batches once or twice a day. There is no latte art and no barista skill required.”
View in the company profileWill the ingredients spoil?
“The core ingredients are shelf-stable syrups, powders, canned granules and dry pearls, so they store for months and there is little spoilage risk compared with fresh prep. That is a big reason a drinks station is low risk for a kitchen to test.”
