Xi'an ActionPower Electric Co., Ltd.
Xi'an ActionPower Electric Co., Ltd. is a Chinese power electronics and power supply equipment manufacturer, and a publicly listed company on the Science and Technology Innovation Board (STAR Market) of the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
What is the difference between constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) modes in a programmable power supply?
“Constant voltage (CV) mode regulates output voltage while limiting current, whereas constant current (CC) mode regulates output current while allowing voltage to vary within the compliance range. Understanding the CV/CC crossover point is critical for safe DUT bring-up and preventing unintended current overstress during transients.”
在公司资料中查看How do bandwidth, control-loop response, and output impedance affect transient performance?
“Control-loop bandwidth and response speed determine how quickly the power supply recovers from load transients, while output impedance influences voltage deviation under dynamic loads. Optimized balance among these parameters is essential for stable testing of fast-switching power electronics.”
在公司资料中查看When should a bidirectional programmable power supply be used instead of a standalone electronic load?
“A bidirectional power supply supports both sourcing and sinking within a single instrument, enabling seamless energy flow emulation without rewiring. It is preferred for battery, DC bus, and regenerative testing scenarios where efficiency and dynamic transitions are critical.”
在公司资料中查看What does regenerative operation mean in a programmable power supply?
“Regenerative operation feeds absorbed energy back to the AC mains instead of dissipating it as heat. This significantly reduces thermal stress, cooling requirements, and operating costs in high-power or long-duration test environments.”
在公司资料中查看Which protection functions are critical for power electronics testing?
“Essential protections include over-voltage, over-current, over-power, slew-rate limiting, and fast fault shutdown. These functions protect both the DUT and test system during abnormal conditions or setup errors.”
