Winnow Solutions
Winnow Solutions is a company that produces Winnow Vision software that identifies the type of waste produced by a restaurant using machine vision, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
We already track food waste, why use Winnow?
“Most tracking tells you what has already gone in the bin. Winnow records waste with no extra step for staff, so nothing gets skipped during a busy service, then forecasts what to produce next. Systems that rely on staff remembering to log a disposal can miss more than 30% of total waste.”

“Winnow is an AI food waste system for commercial kitchens. It measures what a kitchen throws away, automatically and with no extra work for staff, then forecasts how much to produce for each service. Winnow runs in 3,500+ locations across 90+ countries, where clients cut food waste by half and typically cut food costs 2 to 8%.”

“Throw & Go is Winnow's no-touch recording feature. Kitchen staff bin food exactly as they normally would, with nothing to scan and nothing to select, and the AI records the item and its weight in under a second. Because capture is automatic, no disposal gets missed at the busiest moment of service.”
